About Me
I consider myself an expert in the field, thanks to my medical background and years of hands-on experience. My retirement allows me to provide the constant human contact our cats need, nurturing them around the clock.

LET ME INTRODUCE
I’m. Laura Fragman
Despite their enigmatic beginnings, one thing is certain: the Maine Coon’s journey to becoming a beloved breed is marked by admiration for their imposing size, bushy tails, tufted ears, and incredibly friendly demeanor. These striking cats have won the hearts of many, captivating people with their gentle nature and loyalty. They’ve even been dubbed the “gentle giants” of the feline world.
The next time you see a Maine Coon, remember you’re looking at a creature that carries a rich tapestry of lore and history within its sizable frame. Intrigued? How else can I pique your curiosity?

Cat Breeder
At Regile Maine Coon Cattery, our story begins in 1998. We were a busy family with two young children, balancing soccer, gymnastics, room-mother duties, and my career as a pediatric ICU nurse. Breeding Maine Coons was our passion, but the demands of high-quality, dedicated breeding—commitment, financial stability, undivided attention, and above all, love for the breed—meant we had to take a break when life got too hectic. It didn’t feel right to continue if we couldn’t give it our all.
Years went by, our children graduated from college, landed amazing jobs, and we briefly became “empty nesters.” It was then that I felt the urge to return to my calling. With unwavering support from my wonderful husband Rick, we reignited our dream of breeding the majestic Maine Coons we adore.
Our Breeding Philosophy
The Maine Coon cat’s allure isn’t just in its size or luxurious coat—it’s woven with threads of myth and legend. Hailing from the northeastern United States, this cat’s origins are anything but ordinary. One tale whispers that these majestic felines descended from the long-haired cats belonging to Marie Antoinette, the ill-fated French queen, who supposedly sent her pets to America in a desperate attempt to escape the revolution. Another yarn spins the notion that Viking explorers brought the Maine Coon to America, and their seafaring companions left behind their large, furry descendants.
